“Working with Liz was so wonderful! I was struggling with a lot of feeding related pain when I first got home from the hospital with my first born and she helped me navigate those challenges. Her support and encouragement was essential for my breastfeeding journey and gave me the confidence to continue the process even when it was difficult! I highly recommend working with Liz!”

“Liz was a tremendous help throughout my first breastfeeding journey! She made me feel so supported, empowered, and confident, and provided me with so many helpful resources and tools along the way. She had such a lasting impact on me that she’s actually the reason I became a peer breastfeeding counselor myself. I wanted to be able to support other mothers the way she supported me. Everyone needs a Liz in their corner!”

“When I think back to the first few weeks after having my first baby in May 2025, Liz was one of the people who made that overwhelming time so much easier for me.

Having my first child was an incredible experience, but I was completely new to everything that came with being a new mom. Breastfeeding was one of the things I struggled with the most. In those first few days after giving birth, I felt like I wasn’t producing anything. I remember being so disappointed and frustrated, and I honestly didn’t know what I was doing or whether I was doing something wrong. There was so much information coming at me, but I needed someone who could actually look at my situation, explain things to me, and help me figure out what to do.

Liz was there for me from the beginning. She came to the hospital to visit me after I gave birth, and she also came to my home before and after the birth. She took the time to educate me about breastfeeding, answer all of my questions, and help me understand what was happening instead of making me feel like I was failing.

What meant the most to me was that Liz didn’t just give me information and leave. She was patient and reassuring, and she met me where I was. When I was frustrated or discouraged, she helped me feel more confident and reminded me that learning to breastfeed takes time. Having someone I already trusted made such a huge difference, especially because this was my first baby and everything was new to me.

I had known Liz for about two years through work, so I already knew her as a nurse and as a person. But seeing the way she cared for me during such a vulnerable and emotional time gave me an entirely different appreciation for her. She was professional and knowledgeable, but she was also genuinely compassionate and supportive. I never felt judged for asking questions or for not knowing what to do.

Looking back, I’m especially grateful that she was willing to come to my home and provide that one-on-one support. Those early days with a newborn can feel incredibly overwhelming, and sometimes what a new mother needs most is someone knowledgeable who can calmly say, “You’re okay, let’s figure this out together.”

I would wholeheartedly recommend Liz to any new mom, especially a first-time mom who may feel overwhelmed or unsure about breastfeeding. Her knowledge, patience, compassion, and personal support made a meaningful difference in my experience, and I will always be grateful that she was there for me during the beginning of my journey as a mother.”

“Calling Liz was truly one of the best decisions I made as a new mom. As a first-time mom, I struggled so much during the first month after my baby was born that I almost gave up breastfeeding multiple times. Liz was patient and compassionate each time I reached out. She gave me practical guidance when I needed it most.

She helped me work through latching challenges, regulate my milk supply, and establish a rhythm that worked for both me and my baby. With her support, I was able to reach my goal of exclusively breastfeeding. When I returned to work, I felt confident pumping and was able to seamlessly continue providing my baby with breast milk.

Honestly, Liz is the reason I was able to meet my breastfeeding goal with my first baby.”
